Today, the literature teacher no longer focuses solely on the use and exploitation of the traditional forms of literary works. The new Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) have brought significant changes in the field of literature, so much so that we now speak not only of digitized literature but especially of digital literature. However, it is important to note that in many developing countries, digital literature has not yet truly taken off and is consequently inaccessible to the majority of the population due to certain requirements, including the exorbitant cost of the various mediums through which it is presented. This is the case in Nigeria, where this change is slow to manifest due to certain requirements. This analysis aims to highlight the advantages of the integration of ICT into literature teaching for the Nigerian literature teacher. Based on the connectivism theory, the analysis highlights the requirements and challenges surrounding the realization of such an innovation and urges the authorities to ensure the establishment of infrastructures that will facilitate its implementation. Keywords: Digital literature, Digitized literature, ICT, Teaching, Learning.
